it is impossible to give an answer from a distance but before you start to replace parts get a volt meter and check for continuity and resistance on every wire and bolt. there is not much under the hood of any 1932.

check for cracked distributor cup also on some of the old cars up to the 50's the positive was the body opposite from today's cars.

do you have the wiring sachem. also deferent reading between the old parts and the new parts.

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>gideon</foaf:name><yedda:age>50</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/1861173306812/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/images/defaultUserIcon_rmt9c1d22d.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/1932_ford_ignition_problem_9511739013601/1932_ford_ignition_problem_9511739013601" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>
