Feels like the parking brake is on SOMETIMES when I try to drive it in reverse. I replaced the Emergency brake cables, and it still does it. I put the car on a lift and the wheels move freely. Any ideas or similar problems</p>

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>Neil</foaf:name><foaf:gender>male</foaf:gender><yedda:age>43</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/627181250365328/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/resources/00000029271/8cbffd6e971fcd4.jpg" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>question</yedda:type></yedda:post>

RE: 2000 acura tl problem

<p>the problem may be in the transmission. Some of the automatic transmission shops will diagnose the transmission for free. I would try more than one place and compare their recommendations. You may only need to have the transmission flushed and new fluid added. Don't just drain and replace about 3 or 4 quarts. Most shops can pump out most of the old fluid, change the filter and refill the system for less than $200. </p>

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>olddad</foaf:name><yedda:age>66</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/2739516710185/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/resources/00000024353/8cbc9692aa62a8c.jpg" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/2000_acura_tl_problem_car_862048765193267/2000_acura_tl_problem_car_862048765193267" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>
