What is 9 month really worth ?

I mean no offense, and please forgive my ignorance regarding this matter, but as I sit here in the States, endlessly locked in study about the international state of things, I am at a loss. I am a student, not unlike many in Israel but here in the States, I feel as though we are missing something. Israel want peace, as do we, but does Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu? From our vantage point is seems as though President Obama is attempting to discuss real and lasting peace with Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Abbas but Netanyahu is resisting. I do not understand? Why is it wrong to pause settlement building for say 9 months in order to at lease give peace a chance? If it does not work then our young President will have learned a valuable lesson from his friend Netanyahu, and the people of America will stand where we always have... right beside Israel, arm and arm with our Jewish brothers and sisters. But what if... what if, this time... what if right now, together we can bring real and lasting peace? Is that not worth 9 months ?

Of course it is. I am a Spiritual person, as you are. So we must realize that our true War is not with people, world leaders or Countries, it's with evil forces, satan and demons. I don't mean to sound like a fanatic, but I believe in God... And whatever will be will be. His people must keep their eyes on Him, trust Him, and Pray. Never lose your Faith in the power of God.. He is ultimately in charge at all times!

If you ask the average person in the Middle East they want peace. I live in the Land of Miracles, yet the biggest miracle has not yet happened: the outbreak of peace. I am not giving up nor are most people that I know, but I also know how slow things move in my part of the world. What is 9 months when you are talking about thousands and thousands of years?
