I Know They Are Having An Affair. Should I Report It?

I heard lots of rumors flying, but I was still shocked when I actually caught my old boss in the department next to me............ having an affair with a co-worker late at night. I feel compelled to report it, should I? What Would You Do?

I had to do a lot of soul searching on this one(well, at least 15 seconds anyway) but once I got past my initial feelings of being jealous and envying you, I decided that I'd probably just watch and enjoy myself. I might even invite a co-worker or two to join me but that would require a great deal of additional thought.

It would depend is either party or perhaps both married or involved in a supposedly committed relationship ? If the answer is Yes , then Yes I would report it . I would also not trust my Boss or this co-worker as far as I could throw them . If they can do this to someone whom they are suppose to love , value and cherish . Just think what they are capable of doing to others .

Read YaYa's post, and then read it again! It is none of your business. It could cause problems in the workplace, and maybe for you as well. You have heard rumors, that means others are also aware of what's going on. I'd just let it go.

No, don't be the person that brought trouble to their door. Let them do it and you stay out of it. It's not your place to report every wrong you see. Do you report someone running a stop sign? parking in a handicap parking place with no card? Or do you want ot tell because you want to hurt your old boss?

Were I you, I would just turn a blind eye. Whistle blowers don' have a good history of being treated well by their companies.

Try tending your own garden and don't intrude where you don't belong. You have no idea as to the state of either of their worlds. Do as your Grandmother should have advised you; MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!
