I asked her veternarian about it and he said it was typical for that breed of dog to have hip trouble. Luckily she never had to have surgery but he told me of cases where surgery was needed. It wouldn't be a bad idea to look into getting insurance on your dog that will help with all the possible health issues that can come up during the time you have your dog. Don't let it discourage you. They are greatest type of dog to have in my opinion.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator>Charles</dc:creator><foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>Charles</foaf:name><yedda:age>38</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/518615333857165/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/images/defaultUserIcon_rmt9c1d22d.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/Altman_English_Hip_Problems_6272317991745/Altman_English_Hip_Problems_6272317991745" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post><pubDate>Wed, 10 Feb 2010 08:17:52 GMT</pubDate><guid>http://yedda.com/questions/Altman_English_Hip_Problems_6272317991745/female_English_bulldog_hips_trouble_951675961342389?src=rss:qb:qbi</guid></item></channel></rss>
