Bronze lamp caled The hunter

I have a old lamp that was given to me by my great grandmother Im trying to find out roughly how old it is and the value.I beleave it is bronze its called the hunter.It has a man with 5 dogs and he is holding a rifle there is no year or anything stating who or where it was made can anyone help me out with this

Dear risx,

From the description you have give of your lamp it is very difficult to get an answer on the internet without more specific detail like a photograph etc. Your best bet is to take it to a reputable art dealer in your area and get them to advise you on the whether it is of any value or not. I agree. Too sketchy a description. Depends on appeal of the sculpture and whether the material really is bronze. If really bronze, has the patina been destroyed by rough/inept cleaning. Are all the pieces there? sigh? An appraiser can say. BUT if the appraiser makes you an offer to buy and you want to sell, ask him for twice what he offered....
