Since being on it I've noticed several different symptoms. pain and swelling in my abdoman; tiredness, dizzy spells; and pain and swollen lumps in my lower legs that are getting worse. They come and go but the pain is always there sometimes extreme. (also my feet are often cold to touch and hurt) My Family physician seemed to hasten me out of the office, with "you seem to have Phlebitis" and didnt' tell me anything about it. I wondered if it could be something to do with Sotalol. I take Sotalol 90 each a.m. and pm as well as Metformin, Glyberide (for Diabetes which is in control..doing quite well with this) and 10mg rampiril each afternoon.

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>Darlene</foaf:name><yedda:age>52</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/9511684519081/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/images/defaultUserIcon_rmt9c1d22d.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>question</yedda:type></yedda:post>

RE: Coud Sotalol be a cause of Chronic Phlebitis?

This web site is from the Mayo Clinic, and it lists the side effects from Sotalol.

Are you seeing an endocrinologist? If not, I would make sure that you are being treated by one because of your diabetes and the other problems you mention.

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>lavlav</foaf:name><yedda:age>53</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/3505191513740/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/resources/00000007653/8cbc3bc5fe039c8.jpg" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/Coud_Sotalol_cause_Chronic_2734817882141/Coud_Sotalol_cause_Chronic_2734817882141" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>
