Topic is curamin. Warfarin is the generic form of Coumadin. Coumadin is a blood thinner. Your INR is how they keep track through fingerstick blood test to make sure your blood is not to thick or to thin. It is used to prevent blood clots. To keep balance you need to maintain a steady diet. Certain foods with vitamin K thin the blood too so you have to balance your diet for this reason. Hope this helps.</p>

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>Donna aka Maya</foaf:name><foaf:gender>female</foaf:gender><yedda:age>49</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/7359741453104/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/resources/00000004756/8cc6100fa9979b6.jpg" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/Curamin_Warfarin_3507131818377/Curamin_Warfarin_3507131818377" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>

RE: Curamin and Warfarin

<p>Right on Donna aka Maya. Me thinks it is just a spelling error due to being unfamiliar with the word. Your answer is great. I took Coumadin for 4 1/2 years. All the blood tests were not fun. Experienced everything from bleeders to hematomas to hitting nerves. Gil will soon learn fun it is not.</p>

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>citrine1</foaf:name><foaf:gender>female</foaf:gender><yedda:age>64</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/1494105130756/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/resources/00000013761/8cb9b2feb6b2a26.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/Curamin_Warfarin_3507131818377/kinda_unclear_Topic_curamin_350782301820049" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>

RE: Curamin and Warfarin

<p>I have been on Warfarin for years (two small strokes) and will have to continue for the rest of my life, but now I wish to take Curamin for back pain. I have been warned it could raise my INR (clotting time) in an unpredictable way. I have taken Aleve, occasionally, and it didn't put my INR out of control. I am wondering if anyone is using both (Warfarin and Curamin) and how it is working out. Do they have any tips? Maybe this will clarify my question. </p>

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>Gil Voss</foaf:name><yedda:age>69</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/9517659717781/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/images/defaultUserIcon_rmt9c1d22d.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/Curamin_Warfarin_3507131818377/Right_Donna_aka_Maya_nbsp_thinks_149036519632752" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>
