The drain runs fine and the vent is clear. The odor is most pronounced when the water first runs. You might consider sending a water sample to your state's water quality department. Where I live, (Oklahoma), it is called the Oklahoma Water Resources Board. Here, we can send a sample alone with a description of the problem and they will test it free. Maybe you have something similar in your state. I then scrub the iside .
