She said use shortening and corn starch. I will admit it did work for 1 of my babys. My other baby it just makes it work. Is there any other advice you could give me. I've tried everyone of the store products and the babys rash is bad. Let the baby go bare bottomed as much as possible (place waterproof pads underneath the baby when s/he is on something difficult to clean).</p> <p>You can also try using a blow dryer. Turn it to the lowest possible setting and aim it so that the air current blows across the baby's skin, not directly at it. I would put down towels to absorb any urine during the night.
