Longer you run it with bad piston rings worse problems are likely to arise. Valve stem seats are also know to wear out and cause smoke . If you pull one of your spark plugs and it has alot of oil and soot to it. It's definetly one of the two.Other causes could be a blown head gasket,cracked head,or a bad egr valve on an automatic transmission.Bad EGR valve signs are smoke from the pipe on a warm morning.It's actually sucking the transmission fluid into the engine.Until the transmission warms enough to seal off.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator>The great corn-ho-lio</dc:creator><foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>The great corn-ho-lio</foaf:name><yedda:age>26</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/4958791169011/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/resources/00000016473/8cb43f2c41a56b6.jpg" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/Help_OIl_Burning_Smoking_issue_1494116163847/Help_OIl_Burning_Smoking_issue_1494116163847" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post><pubDate>Fri, 10 Apr 2009 20:12:54 GMT</pubDate><guid>http://yedda.com/questions/Help_OIl_Burning_Smoking_issue_1494116163847/description_say_engines_pistons_735539167133405?src=rss:qb:qbi</guid></item><item><title>RE: Help with OIl Burning/Smoking issue</title><link>http://yedda.com/questions/Help_OIl_Burning_Smoking_issue_1494116163847/possible_overfilling_thing_350717371199943?src=rss:qb:qbi</link><description>&lt;p&gt;
