&lt;p&gt;The answer is not necessarily, given that the other candidates may take votes from the incumbent Ahmadinejad, as well as the most popular opposition candidate Mousavi. This may thereby benefit the opposition rather than hand the Presidency to the incumbent. The opposition may collect 51% whereas the incumbent, and others may split the votes among them.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator>Server</dc:creator><foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>Server</foaf:name><foaf:gender>male</foaf:gender><yedda:age>59</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/3506741816954/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/images/defaultUserIcon_rmt9c1d22d.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/Iranian_elections_clear_effective_2739417015144/Iranian_elections_clear_effective_2739417015144" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post><pubDate>Sat, 13 Jun 2009 01:36:16 GMT</pubDate><guid>http://yedda.com/questions/Iranian_elections_clear_effective_2739417015144/nbsp_answer_necessarily_given_518813383607067?src=rss:qb:qbi</guid></item></channel></rss>
