Nothing Israel did was sufficient for Hamas and its adherents. Not once did I read of someone connected with the Pals coming forth and saying this is not acceptable. Which leaves one the belief that all in that environment agreed with such actions by their fellow countrymen. It seems to me that this action by Israel was long in comming and swift in its purpose. And don't be surprised when the UN responds with support only for the Arabs. ----------- Yes, you are absolutely right. I believe Israel made all it could to avoid violence and specially civilian casualties, but unfortunately Hamas took it as a sign of weakness. Now most people are convinced that Israel had no other choice. How would the USA react if Cuba fired rockets, day after day, to Miami ? How would UK react if France fired rockets, day after day, to London ? War is a loose-loose situation but sometimes it's is un-avoidable. --------- Merry christmas and a happy new year. &lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator>OronD</dc:creator><foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>OronD</foaf:name><foaf:gender>male</foaf:gender><yedda:age>110</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/9511444518511/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/resources/00000003211/8ca0e957c977e38.jpg" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/Israeli_response_Hamistan_israel_2739617994189/Israeli_response_Hamistan_israel_2739617994189" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post><pubDate>Sun, 28 Dec 2008 11:38:42 GMT</pubDate><guid>http://yedda.com/questions/Israeli_response_Hamistan_israel_2739617994189/Bob_-----------_Yes_absolutely_149232518327754?src=rss:qb:qbi</guid></item></channel></rss>
