I don't see how he can make any major changes in the Middle East. If anyone had a chance it was Pope John Paul II.

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>rochester</foaf:name><yedda:age>39</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/8627350091718/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/resources/00000006265/8cc30f1eafaee84.jpg" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/Popes_Trip_Middle_East_Pope_9514737715851/Popes_Trip_Middle_East_Pope_9514737715851" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>

RE: Pope's Trip To The Middle East

It's not a matter of public relations (whatever that means).

The pope sincerely wants world peace as we all do. All he can do is plead to the world.

I don't think that his visit will bring about a solution. It will have to a political one.

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>Lido</foaf:name><foaf:gender>male</foaf:gender><yedda:age>77</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/5041787613919/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/resources/00000020822/8cbb2bd16896db8.jpg" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/Popes_Trip_Middle_East_Pope_9514737715851/think_trip_going_public_relations_504109973322293" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>
