Psorisis in my hair

I have severe Psorisis in my hair... to the point that I would say 80 percent of my head is covered. I have tried all kinds of drugs, tar shampoos, and some home remedies. If someone has had the same problem, and fould a remedie .....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pass it on to me... My head is soo sore and flaky I am embarases to go out in public. My roommate has tied to use Olive oil and I keep that on my head for the night in a shower cap which seems to help relieve some of the scaling but only for a day or so... then it dries out and Im right back to where I started. I cannot walk around with oily hair all the time. Please any new ideas would be apprieciated!!! Thank a ton.

You really, really need to see a dermatologist. He/she is a specialist in this kind of thing. Do you actually have a diagnosis of psoriasis? If so, the doctor who diagnosed it should be able to help you with prescription shampoos, conditions, and non-oily creams. In the meantime, exposure to sunshine and using a shampoo that contains selenium usually helps this condition.

go to a dermatologist. they have all kinds of stuff just for that. myself and daughter has it real bad on her scalp, and they gave both of us shampoo and a liquid to use daiy. It works!!!!
