A good program can be so helpful and meaningful and actually address more issues than just the eating disorder, that giving up on it is really quite a shame.

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>SallySue</foaf:name><foaf:gender>female</foaf:gender><yedda:age>26</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/6275812671536/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/resources/00000007314/8ca467e3ab6070c.jpg" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/Recovery_IP_anorexia_bulimia_eating_5187124719066/Recovery_IP_anorexia_bulimia_eating_5187124719066" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>

RE: Recovery without IP?

I don't think you're being bold at all. A part of me knows that a more formalized program would be an outstanding thing. The other part... knows my insurance only covers 80% of it and I really can't afford that other 20%. Let alone the time taken off work (or leave with reduced pay). I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place. I could benefit from that level of support... but I can't afford it. I can barely keep up with the cost of a therapist once a week!

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>OhmGirl</foaf:name><foaf:gender>female</foaf:gender><yedda:age>25</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/2731015796150/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/resources/00000004674/8ca4ade3e234a12.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/Recovery_IP_anorexia_bulimia_eating_5187124719066/guessing_possible_difficult_bold_273663615116576" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>

RE: Recovery without IP?

unlikely, here is a short article about it

anorexia treatment

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>Jonny123</foaf:name><foaf:gender>male</foaf:gender><yedda:age>36</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/8620352821713/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/images/defaultUserIcon_rmt9c1d22d.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/Recovery_IP_anorexia_bulimia_eating_5187124719066/think_youre_bold_formalized_program_495452936151186" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>

RE: Recovery without IP?

There should a proper counseling and an appropriate Eating disorder treatment so that the patient could have a successful recovery from a particular illness.

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>GradyPhil</foaf:name><yedda:age>26</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/4954356165111/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/images/defaultUserIcon_rmt9c1d22d.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/Recovery_IP_anorexia_bulimia_eating_5187124719066/unlikely_short_article_anorexia_951963411788347" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>
