So I use a very light voice to pronounce 21 or turn the falling-rising tone into the rising tone. How can I correct and pronounce?

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>stefanie</foaf:name><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/518210973616693/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/images/defaultUserIcon_rmt9c1d22d.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>question</yedda:type></yedda:post>

RE: Tonal modification of the falling-rising Chinese tone

They can practice with phrases, like h?o t?ng; h?o wán; h?o lèi; h?o ma. There are many occasions that the falling-rising tone is turned into the rising tone. It may be the falling-rising tone plus the falling-rising tone leading to the falling-rising tone plus the rising tone, or it may be the falling-rising tone plus the falling-rising tone leading to the rising tone plus the rising tone. It all depends.
