I accidentally occluded a nostril during irrigation - am I in serious trouble?

During irrigation I mistakenly occluded the other nostril and I felt some water salt water penetrate my ear canal. I never had a lot of mucous in my nose but I have bilateral frontal and maxillary sinusitis. I am on my last day of 2 weeks of levaquin 750mg per day. Did I make a serious mistake or are the chances of serious negative complications minimal because it was just a little salt water and I have been on antibiotics? Thanks in advance for your time and kindness in answering this question.

Who knows?

Spray the affected side with some Afrin, take a decongestant without antihistamines, and sleep with the ear you got water into the canal, up. Meaning that the other ear is on the pillow.

In view of the fact that you are currently on antibiotics, I would think that you will escape unscathed.
