I have been struggling to use my crutches, very unstalbe on them, i am going without out the painkillers today, just advil.I am afraid the 2 times i have jammed my foot may have comprimised the surgery repair, it is not bleeding but i am afraid i may have caused damage. anyone else experience this?

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>sore south paw</foaf:name><yedda:age>54</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/186233660611268/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/images/defaultUserIcon_rmt9c1d22d.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>question</yedda:type></yedda:post>

RE: I just had achillies surgery, they also scrapped ...

Oh man, that must be painful.

I'm afraid you are asking at the wrong plade man. Why don't you ask your doctor instead? He is the one that will give you the right answers.

However, condier visiting a doctor reviewed website. Maybe there you can find good answers as well.

Here is one example: http://www.surgery.com

Wish you all the best!

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>EdwardGalliardo</foaf:name><foaf:gender>male</foaf:gender><yedda:age>22</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/273593684218576/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/images/defaultUserIcon_rmt9c1d22d.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/achilles_tendon_surgery_149033314492865/achilles_tendon_surgery_149033314492865" /><yedda:rating>4.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>

RE: I just had achillies surgery, they also scrapped ...

Talk to your doctor right away! Post-operational problems are quite common, but they must be taken seriously. No problem at all I think, due to the fact that all those aches are usual while dealing with surgeries like the one you have been through.

sites like http://www.surgery.com and even wikipedia may grant you information, but only an expert will tell you what to do. Unfortunately I'm not an expert at all, but I believe that this is not much of a concern.

Good luck dude

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>allanzex</foaf:name><foaf:gender>male</foaf:gender><yedda:age>21</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/350614361004460/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/images/defaultUserIcon_rmt9c1d22d.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/achilles_tendon_surgery_149033314492865/Oh_man_painful_afraid_asking_wrong_862937144173671" /><yedda:rating>4.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>

RE: I just had achillies surgery, they also scrapped ...

Using a wheelchair instead of crutches to get around will help prevent further injury to your achilles tendon. A used one can be had for a fraction of the cost of a new one. I don't think a soft dressing with a splint can give you the support that you need to prevent further injury when you are standing up. Go to a medical supply store and get a fixed-ankle support boot. Your health insurance may even cover this. http://www.best4health.net

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>Iamjustcurious</foaf:name><foaf:gender>male</foaf:gender><yedda:age>41</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/7357771667110/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/images/defaultUserIcon_rmt9c1d22d.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/achilles_tendon_surgery_149033314492865/Talk_doctor_right_away_Post_735076187234208" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>
