We have previously had 2 buff colored cockers. I would like to know what personality traits to look for in a black and white cocker. I know the color of a cocker has a lot to do with their personality. I would just like to know what to expect.

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>sandra</foaf:name><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/495852336841174/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/images/defaultUserIcon_rmt9c1d22d.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>question</yedda:type></yedda:post>

RE: We recently adopted a black and white cocoker ...

Sandra,

I had dogs all my life. I don't think the color of the dog has any bearing on his or her personality. I think the personality of a dog is molded by its upbringing by its owner. Do you show it love and attention? A dog is like a child. If you give it care and attention, then the dog turns out to be an outgoing, happy and a well-adjusted dog. I hope you'll enjoy your new pet.

Take care.

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>DB Lady</foaf:name><foaf:gender>female</foaf:gender><yedda:age>56</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/5180113519651/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/resources/00000006337/8ca826266910744.jpg" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/cocker_spaniels_862298236133797/cocker_spaniels_862298236133797" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>

RE: We recently adopted a black and white cocoker ...

I agree. You are lucky to have one as a pet. I would love to have one. Anyway, your pet’s personality is part genetic and part environment. You can expect it to be like most other cocker spaniels. If you want to share your new pet’s pictures, you can add one via the link provided: http://www.for-the-dog-lover.com/cutest-puppies.html

Thanks.

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>Arpita Barua</foaf:name><yedda:age>25</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/5186147418166/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/images/defaultUserIcon_rmt9c1d22d.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/cocker_spaniels_862298236133797/agree_color_personality_273023771815253" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>
