But it all depends on the immune system. Chicken Pox is a virus, which means that after it is in your body it does not leave. The virus settles down in one part of your body and that is where shingles will appear if they ever do. But if your body does not build that immunity to the virus then you can break out with Chicken Pox more times then normal.

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>lovesherairman</foaf:name><yedda:age>18</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/504186773225092/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/images/defaultUserIcon_rmt9c1d22d.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/health_family_273533890412485/immune_system_intact_immunity_wanes_149037914962757" /><yedda:rating>3.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>

RE: How many times can a child get chicken pox?

Julie Ann,
