How much does it weigh?

My Grandson had this question on a test, he answered with 800 kilos and got it wrong. Even though he will speak with the teacher about what he should have done to get the correct answer. I would like some feedback in the mean time.

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>bit0ffury</foaf:name><foaf:gender>female</foaf:gender><yedda:age>54</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/1868153456812/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/resources/00000022548/8cc14811899265c.jpg" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>question</yedda:type></yedda:post>

RE: The shark weighs 600 K

Sad, the teacher is right, even it is more a trick then math: Here we go: Weight=x

600+x/3 = x ; 600 = x-x/3 ; 600 = 2/3x ; 600/2 * 3 = 900 kilo's

hope it helps

<foaf:maker><foaf:Person><foaf:name>gunter</foaf:name><foaf:gender>male</foaf:gender><yedda:age>49</yedda:age><foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://yedda.com/people/9517616915081/?src=rss:qb:ap" /><foaf:img rdf:resource="http://static1.yeddacdn.com/resources/00000014726/8cb09720d8c36c2.gif" /></foaf:Person></foaf:maker><yedda:post><yedda:type>answer</yedda:type><yedda:thread previous="http://yedda.com/questions/shark_weighs_600_K_science_273053873319265/shark_weighs_600_K_science_273053873319265" /><yedda:rating>4.0</yedda:rating></yedda:post>
