Guess my age and I won't bite you!

If you take the number of rattles, double it, then multiply by your age round to the nearest decade divided by the number of buttons and finally multiply by zero, then add 5 you should be reasonably close.

If you are not into math, you will be pleased to know that one cannot determine the age of a snake (with the exception of Den Stabler), unless you know the year in which he was born.

Rattlesnakes add another rattle every time they shed their skin. This can be as many as five times a year. During their lifespan, the rattles will break off due to age and dryness. So it is usually impossible to tell their age by this method.
