Ferry prices on the net seem very steep. Does anyone have any info on buying tickets on arrival at Algeciras for the crossing to Tangier or Ceuta. Prices on the web site you gave are similar to those I`ve seen already - around 100 euros (£100) for two adults and one motorcycle, one way only. I did this crossing in 1969 and it was relatively cheap back then, a lot less than crossing the English channel at the time for example. Of course I don`t expect the price to be on a par with 1969, but for a fairly short crossing it seemed rather pricey. I have on occasion paid for ferry travel without prior booking, just arriving at the port and taking a chance.
